About The Position

Under general supervision, the candidate will be assisting and supporting the Quality Engineering role of an assigned project. Responsibilities may include:

Review & interpret purchased and manufactured product drawings.
Learn defect evaluation techniques.
Gain understanding of inspection / quality test equipment capabilities.
Review opportunities for improvement and help identify a solution using data.
Work closely with production employees & supporting roles to gather data.
Work with external vendors / suppliers to support problem solving / solutions.
Will be given assignments and projects to illustrate key learnings and knowledge of Quality Engineering Principles.

Requirements

• Candidate must be enrolled and pursuing an Engineering degree with an interest in Quality
• Proficiency in using excel and pivot tables.
• Good analytical and communication skills required.
• Must have own reliable means of transportation.
• Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided.
