ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following: Read and understand shop drawings and understand what material needs to be assembled and/or marked for prep Able to read and understand shop drawings Tack weld necessary steel components (e.g. stiffener plates, cap plates) that make up an assembly Drilling, cutting, shaping steel members per-shop drawing requirements including flame cutting, notching, beveling, coping, magnetic drilling etc. Layout, clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind component parts to obtain required configurations and preparations for welding needs Mark all welding symbols and lengths of welds Deburr material by using a grinder Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications Assemble beams, columns, and railings Follow all Safety Rules Join our team as a Mid-Level Fabricator where your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our projects! Requirements

GED/High School Diploma (Not Required)
Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a fabricator in a shop environment
Proficient with torch
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to stand, twist, reach, and move around for long periods of time
Must know how to operate a grinder
Must be able to use tap measure and knowledge of material types
Math skills (geometry a plus)
Must be certified in one of the four (FMAW, FCAW, FCAW-G, SMAW)

Responsibilities
