About The Position

Millwork Assembly Team Lead – Commercial Furniture & Cabinetry Versatile | Full-Time www.versatileus.com Join a modern manufacturing team where craftsmanship meets advanced technology. Versatile is looking for a motivated Millwork Assembly Team Lead to oversee daily assembly operations and guide a team producing custom millwork and commercial furniture, including cabinets, desks, tables, and fixtures used in office, school, and commercial environments. This role combines leadership and hands-on manufacturing knowledge. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to lead a team while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Requirements

• Proven leadership or team lead experience in manufacturing or assembly
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills
• Ability to delegate work, hold team members accountable, and drive results
• Comfortable coaching, correcting, and motivating employees
• Clear communicator and team-oriented leader
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and ERP software

Nice To Haves

• Experience with millwork, cabinetry, or furniture assembly is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 6–12 assembly technicians
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production schedules
• Delegate work to ensure efficient workflow and on-time completion
• Monitor quality standards and perform department audits
• Identify production challenges and implement process improvements
• Set clear assembly standards and performance expectations
• Coordinate schedules and priorities with other department leads
• Track labor and production progress using ERP systems
