About The Position

Our client is seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our team on a full-time contract basis. As a key contributor, you will leverage the Microsoft Power Platform to create and maintain custom business solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business success. This on-site position will be based at our client's main industrial office complex in Greenville, South Carolina, offering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer with strong proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse and knowledge of C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python for extending Power Platform capabilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint and Teams, with a solid understanding of database concepts and SQL
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices for creating user-friendly applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior leadership and other professionals as well as the willingness to seek answers to questions from other team members is vital to the role.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and create scalable solutions.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, i.e. Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g. MS PL400 Power Platform Developer)
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment helps to understand the types of reporting and KPI’s needed.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Develop workflows, dashboards, and reports to streamline business processes and enhance data visibility.
  • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot existing Power Platform solutions.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and third-party applications.
  • Ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards.
  • Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end-users.
