About The Position
Multi-Platform Mobile Application Developer The Opportunity: As an embedded software engineer, you know how to create and maintain crucial pieces of software. You use your knowledge to write and optimize code that creates a bridge between pieces of software, allowing them to communicate. We’re looking for an experienced embedded software engineer like you to develop technology for our clients’ most important mission-forward challenges. As a senior Multi-Platform Mobile Application Developer at Booz Allen, you’ll support the development of systems, sites, and tools for our clients. Using the latest tools and technology, you’ll write, test, and edit code in support of the team’s overall results. You’ll expand your skills as you develop and reverse engineer software that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices, as well as configure solutions based on the platform being used. You’ll work with other team leaders to troubleshoot and correct operational issues, as well as with cybersecurity specialists to ensure that the software you’re creating is secure. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
- 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
- Experience developing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or Flutter
- Experience with Kotlin, Java, or Dart
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with back-end systems and third-party services
- Experience with mobile application testing frameworks for both unit testing and UI automation
- Experience with delivering offline or disconnected mobile functionality
- Knowledge of app deployment processes, including App Store and Google Play submission guidelines
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

- Experience with AWS GovCloud
- Experience optimizing app performance and memory consumption
- Experience with gamification in a mobile environment
- Knowledge of AWS for mobile back-end support
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices and encryption techniques
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles
