Summary: ATS is seeking NDT experienced Maritime NDT UTSW Tech to support our Santa Fe Springs, CA office. This position is open to experienced Level II NDT Techs. Additional certs preferred. Must be local to LA County, CA or willing to relocate. This is a permanent position with benefits and a pay range of $30 to $35+ per hour based on experience and certs held. Travel includes SoCal up to Oakland/SF area.

Requirements

  • Must be local to LA County, CA or willing to relocate.
  • Passport and TWIC in hand preferred or ability to obtain these important documents promptly.
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • The Maritime NDT Level II Tech will be responsible for supporting customers and projects in the field while conducting NDT in most methods.
  • All NDT Techs will collect, manage, and evaluate test data for accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain and report test results.
  • Complete reports and documentation as required.
  • Must be able to read technical documents and engineering specifications.
  • Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
  • Work safely; maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule.
  • Ability to use computers for data entry.
