About The Position

Joining Collins Aerospace isn’t just about finding a job; it’s about embarking on a journey to redefine the future of aerospace technology. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a specialized inspection role, NDT Technician to Perform Ultrasonics Level II, Mag Particle/Penetrant Level II, Hardness Testing, and Radiographic Testing Level II. Training will be on 1st shift for the first 3-6 months. Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30 pm EST.

Requirements

  • Obtained relevant certifications and/or qualifications required to perform NDT
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably technical school background, and demonstration of basic educational competencies (reading, writing).
  • Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension
  • Competent with hand tools and experienced with measurement equipment
  • Basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval

Responsibilities

  • Obtains necessary stock, fixtures, tooling and gauging
  • Performs all specialized inspection techniques including... NDT duties
  • Ultrasonics Level II
  • Mag Particle Level II
  • Penetrant Testing Level II
  • Radiographic Testing Level II
  • Hardness Testing
  • Obtain and maintain certifications for appropriate level of inspection
  • Performs audit function in support of operator certification
  • Trains new employees and Level I Operators for Level II status
  • Maintains compliance of inspection equipment
  • Performs computer transactions
  • Moves parts to, from, within module
  • Cleans inspection equipment
  • General housekeeping
