The main purpose of the Assistant Spa Manager is to assist the Director and Manager of Spa and Wellness in overseeing the successful daily operations of Nest. Requirements

  • 3 years’ supervisor experience required, spa experience preferred
  • Must have excellent verbal skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of math
  • Be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
  • Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in a calm and quiet spa setting

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling of Spa Therapists and Coordinators
  • Respond to time-sensitive guest requests for spa and wellness appointments
  • Create and place back bar orders for spa locker room needs
  • Responding to activity needs
  • Create Cat-C’s as needed
  • Oversee all aspects of the spa reception team (coordinators), including: Onboarding and training new coordinators according to Nest SOPs Ensuring accuracy in appointments, charges, and retail sales Conduct semi-annual performance reviews in conjunction with the spa manager Developing and implementing monthly incentives for coordinators and updating results daily
  • Work with the Facilities team to ensure Nest. is clean and ready for guests every day
  • Maintain common area guest supplies (locker rooms, lounge, etc.)
  • Maintain respectful working relationships with other departments
  • Work at the desk and in the retail area welcoming and interacting with guests and leading by example
  • Motivate the team and ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Become familiar with spa services including massages, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, and facials
  • Serve as Manager on Duty
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
  • Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests.
  • Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
  • Supervision of Nest. Service Providers and Coordinators
