About The Position

GCyber is seeking a Network Operations Specialist, to help support our government customer. The Network Operations Specialist provides day-to-day network operations at the Suffolk JPH site, operating under the X001 Section Lead. This position brings strong DoD classified network experience from prior assignments and is continuing to develop JPH facility-specific knowledge. As the Network Operations Specialist, you will: Perform daily network operations monitoring, incident response, and ticket management at Suffolk site Support X001 Section Lead on Comply2Connect 3.1/3.2 profiling activities and ISE administration Manage endpoint support and network infrastructure maintenance within assigned scope Submit and resolve ServiceNow tickets with full documentation Support firmware updates, STIG compliance checks, and routine maintenance tasks Escalate technical and operational issues to X001 Section Lead before engaging government contacts

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance, TS/SCI preferred
  • 2+ years total IT/network experience
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent preferred
  • Cisco network fundamentals and monitoring tool experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily network operations monitoring, incident response, and ticket management at Suffolk site
