About The Position

Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Responsibilities Provide IT support - Work with end users and administrators on IT tickets and projects. Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues along with documenting resolutions. Create and maintain IT documentation. Work on IT process improvement. Recommend, configure, test, and deploy configuration packages for use with Desktop Management Product - Endpoint Central Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade network infrastructure. Cisco, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti. Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers. (Windows) Project planning. Assign work orders, follow up on status, and communicate status to users. Periodically travel to remote locations and assist other IT technicians. Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent Customer Service. Qualifications Candidates should be enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in Computer Information Systems or related field GPA of 2.7 or above Strong communication skills to successfully interact with employees and management Strong comprehension skills Strong computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows OS Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.

Requirements

  • Candidates should be enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in Computer Information Systems or related field
  • GPA of 2.7 or above
  • Strong communication skills to successfully interact with employees and management

  • Strong computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows OS
