About The Position

The Nurse Educator will:
Plan and design educational programs in accordance with the requirements of the N.J. Board of Nursing, current regulatory guidelines, the Code of Ethics and institutional guidelines
Implement educational activities/programs
Evaluate educational activities/programs
Maintain skill and knowledge of current health practices
Be a team player and taking on other responsibilities as needed
Must hold National Certification in Oncology- OCN

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN Required, MSN strongly preferred
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in specialty preferred
• At least two (2) years of experience in Educator role preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ACLS/PALS/NRP at specialty level
• Must hold National Certification in Oncology- OCN

Nice To Haves

• MSN strongly preferred
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in specialty preferred
• At least two (2) years of experience in Educator role preferred
