Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: Electrophysiology Midland
About The Position
MyMichigan Medical Center Midland has an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the growing Electrophysiology Team! Mix EP lab support and clinic support flexing in either direction to support clinical needs Assists Electrophysiology attending with clinic visits of patients and in monitoring patient care and formulating treatment plans. Works closely with the physician and nursing staff in developing and coordinating a plan of care designed to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of patients and their families. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required. Knowledge of current literature and a commitment to continued learning are also required.
Requirements
- AHA approved BLS Certification
- AHA approved ACLS Certification
- Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Cardiology and related work experience is required
Nice To Haves
- Electrophysiology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Procedures: cardioversions & loop extractions
- Inpatient rounding
- Outpatient clinic includes evaluation and management for new and follow-up patients
