About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Lewisburg, PA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: 06/01/2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: 8:00a – 4:30p COVERAGE DATES • Ongoing coverage beginning June 1, 2026 • Approximately 2 weeks per month • 2–3 consecutive clinic days per week (most often Monday–Wednesday) PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adolescents and Adults (approximately ages 14–90) • Patient Volume/Census: 20–25 patients per day • Case Mix: Routine OB/GYN visits and outpatient gynecologic care FACILITY INFORMATION • Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital with outpatient clinic services • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Colposcope and standard gynecologic exam equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Other OB/GYN providers within the practice • Support Staff Available: Clinic nurses, registration staff, Clinical Supervisor, Office Supervisor, and Practice Manager • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental provider coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90–120 days

Requirements

Licenses: Active Pennsylvania Medical License
Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
DEA: Active DEA Certification
Certifications: BLS
Experience: Prior OB/GYN clinical experience required
Other Qualifications: Epic EMR experience required; mandatory vaccines unless approved medical or religious exemption

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient obstetrics and gynecology clinical care
Perform minor gynecologic procedures including EMB, colposcopy, pessary care, and PAP testing
Evaluate and treat patients presenting for routine and specialty OB/GYN visits
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic EMR
Collaborate with nursing staff and clinic leadership to ensure efficient patient care delivery
