About The Position
The Occupational Therapist provides skilled therapy services in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment, supporting residents in improving functional independence and quality of life. This role focuses on restorative care, safety, and participation in daily activities through evidence-based interventions. The therapist works closely with a cohesive rehab team and utilizes modern tools and ongoing education resources to maintain clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Licensed Occupational Therapist eligible to practice in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
- Experience in SNF or LTC preferred, with strong skills in ADL training, balance, falls prevention, and dementia care.
- Comfortable managing a diverse geriatric caseload and collaborating within a long-standing interdisciplinary rehab team.
- Ability to work a weekday schedule (35 hours/week, Mon–Fri) with no weekend rotation.
- Commitment to quality care, documentation accuracy, and patient-centered outcomes required.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems preferred (Net Health / E-Doc).
