About The Position

Farm & Home Hardware is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Office Administrator to support daily store operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and interacting with both employees and customers. The position includes basic accounting, data entry, and light HR duties to support onboarding and orientation processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with basic accounting and data entry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Nice To Haves

  • Previous HR or onboarding experience is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with scheduling or onboarding platforms (e.g., Homebase) is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry for invoices, receipts, and internal records
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks including account reconciliation and payment posting
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Support office communications, scheduling, and documentation management
  • Assist with new‑hire onboarding steps, including document collection and Homebase setup
  • Help coordinate employee orientation, first-day processes, and policy distribution
  • Maintain compliance records and ensure employee files are up to date
  • Communicate with HR leadership and store managers as needed
  • Support internal policy adherence using company resources such as the Employee Handbook
