This role is responsible for handling permitting for new construction jobs, coordinating utility locates, managing administrative filing, and providing general office support. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional on the phone, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit permit applications for new residential plumbing projects
  • Coordinate with city/county building departments
  • Track permit approvals, inspections, and required documentation
  • Maintain permit logs and ensure compliance deadlines are met
  • Schedule plumbing inspections as needed
  • Submit and track utility locate requests for new jobs
  • Communicate with field supervisors regarding job readiness
  • Maintain job files (digital and physical) for new construction projects
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
  • Assist with customer and builder communication
  • Organize and maintain office filing systems
  • Enter job data into company software system
  • Assist with document management
  • Order office supplies as needed
