About The Position

A growing outpatient neurology practice in Sherman, Texas is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive neurological care in a structured clinic environment. This role focuses on longitudinal patient management, medication optimization, and collaborative care planning within a physician-led practice model. Ideal candidates are confident managing high-volume outpatient workflows and delivering patient-centered neurological care.

Requirements

• Active Texas RN and APRN license
• Board Certification (AGACNP or FNP)
• 2+ years Nurse Practitioner experience (outpatient or inpatient)
• Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior neurology clinic experience
• Familiarity with EMG/EEG workflows
• Experience managing high-volume clinic schedules

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and follow-up visits
• Manage conditions including headaches, migraines, epilepsy, neuropathy, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and post-stroke care
• Review imaging studies, EEG reports, and laboratory data
• Adjust medications and treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician
• Provide patient education and chronic disease management counseling
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Coordinate care with therapy services and referring providers
