Brown & Brown is seeking Office Leader to join our growing team in Milwaukee, WI! The Office Leader serves as the local market’s sales and execution leader, driving revenue growth and fostering a high-performance culture. This role is accountable for leading by example—maintaining and growing a personal book of business—while coaching and inspiring producers to achieve aggressive growth goals. The Office Leader is deeply engaged in the local community, builds strong carrier and client relationships, and ensures seamless day-to-day execution of business priorities. This is not an administrative role; it is a front-line leadership position focused on market growth and team success.

Requirements

  • Licensed in property/casualty and life/health (or able to obtain)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the team member to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in business or related discipline (preferred)
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar position (preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and actively grow a personal book of business ($750K–$1M+), demonstrating leadership through performance.
  • Drive new business development and retention goals for the local market.
  • Lead sales initiatives, producer coaching, and pipeline management to accelerate growth.
  • Partner with producers on strategic opportunities and maintain relationships with Top 25 accounts.
  • Cultivate strong local carrier relationships to support placement and negotiation strategies.
  • Ensure flawless day-to-day execution of business goals, service standards, and client experience.
  • Hold producers and sales leaders accountable for growth targets and training completion.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to maintain momentum.
  • Partner with Market Leader on staffing decisions and strategic priorities aligned with growth.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture within the office.
  • Represent the firm locally through active involvement in boards, committees, and community initiatives.
  • Serve as a visible leader and brand ambassador in the market.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop producers and team members to build a strong growth-oriented team.
  • Partner with Team Resources on performance management and compensation recommendations.
  • Identify future talent needs and create development opportunities aligned with market expansion.
