About The Position

Now Hiring: On-Site/Staffing Coordinator for Pomona, CA! Join our team and support day-to-day staffing operations directly at the client site. If you’re organized, proactive, and great with people, we want to meet you! The Staffing/On-Site Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the client and the Full Steam Staffing HR Department. This role ensures strong communication, employee relations, and efficient operational support.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of On-Site Coordinator or Supervisory experience preferred .
  • Experience in recruiting (temporary & direct hire), payroll, benefits administration, labor/employee relations, and safety/workers’ compensation, ideally in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred – must be able to read, write, and speak both languages at a professional level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and collaborate in a fast-paced setting.
  • Understanding of distribution center operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting and computer work.
  • Occasional stair climbing.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the client and staffing office.
  • Attend daily staffing meetings and fulfill personnel requirements.
  • Address employee relations issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor employee performance and handle disciplinary actions when appropriate.
  • Manage daily time and attendance, including missing in/out reports.
  • Process payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support business development by maintaining a strong working relationship with the client.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assist HR with investigations, employee complaints, and EEOC matters.
  • Oversee temporary associates and supervise daily activities.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews; provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform daily safety checks and support safety initiatives directed by the Safety Director.
  • Track compliance for new hires, pay ranges, and onboarding documentation.
  • Facilitate clear, proactive communication with all employee levels.
  • Be available for on-call and weekend coverage as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
