About The Position

The Traffic Control & Rental Administrator (OSS Administrator) plays a central role in coordinating traffic control and rental operations by ensuring accurate data entry, scheduling, dispatch, and invoicing. This position works closely with the Traffic Control Manager, dispatch teams, supervisors, and rental staff to support daily job execution and maintain operational efficiency. Responsibilities include opening and closing work orders, reconciling invoices, handling customer inquiries, and scheduling traffic control and rental services. The role supports equipment forecasting, inventory tracking, and dispatch coordination to ensure required materials are available for projects. The Administrator also maintains customer relationships through professional communication and problem-solving while delivering a high level of service. Additional duties include assisting with deliveries, minor equipment repair support, yard upkeep, and administrative tasks as needed. The role requires strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and Lean operational practices in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Proficient computer and data-entry skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with TCR/SalesPad or similar systems preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience an asset
  • Experience in traffic control or construction industry an asset
  • Basic understanding of power tools
  • Forklift certification preferred but not required
