About The Position

The Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming transition for new hires into the company. You will serve as the main point of contact for new employees from the moment their offer is accepted until their first week, providing essential support and guidance through the onboarding process.

Requirements

  • Experience in human resources, recruiting, HR administration, HR support, and HR systems.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, Recruiting Coordination, or Administrative Support.

  • Exposure to working in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for new hires from the offer acceptance until their first week.
  • Send welcome packages and answer questions regarding benefits, company culture, and office logistics.
  • Initiate and monitor background checks and drug screenings.
  • Verify I-9 documentation and ensure compliance with legal employment requirements.
  • Coordinate with IT and Facilities to prepare laptops, badges, and workstations.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS records.
  • Schedule orientation sessions and introduce new hires to their respective departments.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the onboarding process and suggest improvements.
