About The Position

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Administrative Assistant at our Cortez Mine site. The successful candidate will provide confidential administrative support. Additional responsibilities include: preparing confidential documents and presentations and electronic filing of the same, collecting data and compiling monthly (and as needed) expense reports, preparing and distributing weekly and monthly site communications. Coordinating and presenting new hire orientation, event planning and coordination, monitoring incoming mail and responding as appropriate, attending meetings and documenting minutes; perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Knowledge and skills equivalent to that gained through a minimum of five (5) years clerical/secretarial experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of office management/administrative support practices and procedures required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion required
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Visio)
  • Oracle R11.5.10 or R12 or similar ERP required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with a wide variety of people required
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a heavy workload in a fast-paced, demanding environment required

  • Familiarity with electronic filing systems preferred

Responsibilities
