About The Position

Sidney Health Center is seeking an Operating Room Supply Technician to join our I CARE team in the Surgery Department setting. Essential duties of the position include maintaining, stocking and organizing surgical suppli9es and equipment used in the operating room. The Operating Room Supply Technician ensures that all necessary materials are available, properly stored and ready for surgical procedures to support safe and efficient patient care. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to lift, move and transport supply carts and boxes
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a hospital, surgical center or materials management role (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of medical or surgical supplies (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Stock, organize and replenish surgical supplies in operating rooms and core storage areas
  • Maintain inventory levels and monitor expiration dates of sterile and non-sterile supplies
  • Prepare case carts or procedure-specific supply sets as scheduled
  • Receive, unpack and properly store delivered medical supplies
  • Communicate supply shortages, backorders or damaged items to supervisors
  • Assist with inventory counts, supply tracking, and ordering processes
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety and hospital policies
  • Keep storage areas clean, organized and labeled
  • Support OR staff by responding quickly to supply requests during procedures
