About The Position

Assists perioperative nurses and anesthesia care providers with patient care and performs delegated patient care procedures in Surgical Services. Checks and restocks supplies; move medical equipment; may prepare equipment for use; and cleans and returns equipment to correct storage locations after use. Performs between case/end-of-case cleaning in the procedure rooms; performs anesthesia turnovers between patients and at end of schedule; and assists in maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Requirements

• Require Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
• HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Nice To Haves

• Prefer previous health care experience.
• Prefer certification in related healthcare.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to follow written/verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
