Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced: Operational Systems Engineer We are looking for a strong, senior level, technical leader looking to apply a multi-disciplined approach towards applying cybersecurity tactics to both offensive and defensive perspectives. You'll be part of a multi-faceted team of computer operators, SME's, and systems experts with a joint task of developing web-based systems that improve the efficiency, usability, automation and standardization of our project. You will be building critical DevOps pipelines using AWS, Azure, Google technologies, GitLab CI/CD and tools like Ansible and Terraform.

Requirements

  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
  • 7+ years of technical experience working in software engineering, application development, and/or web application development and deployment.
  • A college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Engineering, or a similarly related discipline, or an equivalent combination of technical experience, training, and/or military experience.
  • Experience in automating installation, monitoring, and O&M tasks using Linux scripting and Python.
  • Experience working with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes, as well as Cron, iptables, and user permissions.
  • Experience with OpenVPN, SELinux, Network File System (NFS) and Common Internet File System (CIFS).
  • Extensive experience with open-source technology, software development, system engineering, data security best practices, encryption tools, access control mechanisms and other security tools.
  • Knowledge of web services, APIs, REST, and RPC.
  • Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks.

Nice To Haves

  • System Administration certifications, such as in Linux or Microsoft, as well as overall networking related certifications.
  • An understanding of Windows Active Directory, as well as the ability to configure and edit Windows Active Directory and Domain Services
