About The Position

The Operational Training Consultant 1 is responsible for the training and development of operational skills/processes within the HOLT Enterprise. This position is responsible for guiding employee competencies to meet core expectations, develop high performing teams, and achieve strategic business opportunities. Additionally, the Operational Training Consultant 1 conducts needs analysis, designs/develops curriculum, implements, and evaluates overall effectiveness of training programs. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions: Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission Demonstrates familiarity with eLearning software, various learning approaches and competency in Microsoft Office Suite Delivers, implements, and evaluates operational process training with our Values Based Leadership™ culture Evaluates existing training programs, aligns training programs with business objectives, facilitates learning opportunities for various audiences and supports the design and delivery of course materials and teaching aids Reviews and updates operational training curriculum as instructed by Operational Training Manager Coach learners on role-specific skills, processes or systems as needed Promotes and reinforces operational training tools, course materials, lessons, and processes ensure integration of critical operational competencies Continuously acquires new developmental and instructional skills essential for sustained, productive, and professional operational training/coaching Establishes and maintains positive relationships within the enterprise Solicits feedback, analyzes information, and demonstrates sound decision- making/judgement skills to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training curriculum development Maintains confidentiality in alignment with Values-Based Leadership™ culture and organizational guidelines Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards Performs other duties assigned

Requirements

  • Demonstrates strong operational skills and understanding within assigned area of responsibility, specifically related to operations, sales, and service – including applicable software used for operations, service, and sales
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with each level of the organization
  • Excellent formal presentation skills both in person and virtual before both small and large groups
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail
  • Driven and results-oriented with a focus on meeting business objectives and feedback integration
  • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.
  • Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Two years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience are required
  • High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Four or more years of experience preferred
