About The Position

Now, we are launching our newest location and seeking a motivated leader to serve as our "Mission Control" for a new location! This isn't just a desk job; it’s a ground-floor opportunity . You will be the very first hire in our operations department, helping us establish the culture, workflows, and local reputation that will define our success for years to come. As the Operations & Dispatch Coordinator, you are the nerve center of our business. You will be responsible for orchestrating our field technicians to ensure maximum efficiency, managing our inventory pipeline, and providing the white-glove customer service that Mister Sparky is famous for. You’ll be the bridge between our customers’ needs and our technicians’ expertise.

Requirements

  • The "Orchestrator" Mindset: You can handle a ringing phone, a GPS map, and a technician’s question all at once without breaking a sweat.
  • Tech Savvy: High proficiency in computer software is a must (experience with SuccessWare or ServiceTitan is a major plus).
  • Reliability: You understand that "punctuality" is our brand promise.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in high-volume customer service or dispatching is preferred, but a "can-do" entrepreneurial spirit is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Dispatching: Manage the dispatch board to keep field personnel moving, using the "Dispatch for Profits" system to ensure the right electrician is sent to the right appointment.
  • Proactive Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, notifying them of arrival times and proactively rescheduling whenever necessary to maintain a 100% satisfaction rate.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Coordinate with our suppliers to ensure parts are ordered and trucks are stocked, minimizing downtime for our electricians.
  • Field Support: Debrief with technicians after every job to identify outstanding client needs and ensure all data (system age, equipment type) is accurately logged in SuccessWare.
  • Business Growth: As a founding team member, you’ll help refine our office processes and contribute ideas to help us scale the business.
