THE JOB We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to support the management team as the Operations Maintenance Supervisor at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. This position exercises overall support for facility operations, physical plant, equipment and supplies, and the management of facilities non-show day part-time cleaning and maintenance staff. This is an exempt role reporting to the Operations Manager of the venue. This position is part-time/seasonal with hours from March thru November. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business needs and may be scheduled up to 40 hours per week or more during peak season.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma/GED
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in a relatable field such as electrical, mechanical, carpentry or industrial maintenance
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting

Nice To Haves

  • Educational training or apprenticeship in a mechanical, electrical, carpentry or industrial maintenance trade a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting all aspects of facility operations, cleaning and maintenance, including but not limited to, front of house operations, all venue set up/tear down, preventive maintenance, vendor management, supply ordering & inventory levels, scheduling, ordering and staffing
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining clean and organized work areas and developing system for proper use and management of venue tools.
  • Perform light maintenance such as painting and general repairs
  • Helps to recruit, hire, train and supervise part-time staff/supervisors, including but not limited to: Maintenance, Cleaning, Landscaping, and Restroom Porters
  • Create staff schedules to ensure efficient operations for non-event days, adhering to budget directives from the General Manager
  • Continuously identify areas of the venue that may need repair
  • May assist in recommending capital expenditure and large R&M projects
  • In conjunction with all venue department managers, work to accommodate all operational needs related to facilities and cleaning by organizing and tracking work order requests and completion
  • Ensure optimum operating condition of all amphitheater equipment
  • Implementation and execution of all Live Nation policies, procedures, and programs
  • Coordinate visits for subcontractors and third-party vendors as needed
  • Ordering of and proper storage of all venue chemicals and related data sheets per standards
  • Position requires working all events along with non-event days for optimal venue success
  • Other duties as may be assigned
