About The Position

The Operations Specialist - Inside Sales Support is an integral part of the sales process by providing dedicated coverage and support to sellers and accounts based on business need. This position will be responsible for the administrative and operational tasks required for effective business coverage.

Requirements

  • Experience in utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including the use of formulas, functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with the operational mechanisms, hierarchical setup, and the overall framework of SHI, enabling effective navigation and utilization of internal processes
  • Ability to oversee and direct projects to completion, ensuring goals are met, resources are utilized efficiently, and stakeholders are satisfied.
  • Proficiency in using Dynamics CRM to manage customer relationships, track sales, and streamline business processes through automation and data analysis preferred
  • The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently.
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
  • 2-3 years of experience in Inside Sales as an Inside Sales Account Manager or Client Solutions Manager

  • Proficiency in using Dynamics CRM to manage customer relationships, track sales, and streamline business processes through automation and data analysis preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Outside/Inside Sales, customers, and SHI internal departments
  • Assist Sales with current and new business initiative execution
  • Make updates as needed to customize SHI.com catalogs for customers
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting assistance
  • Attend customer-facing meetings or conference calls to gather project/order requirements
  • Communicate tracking results to the Sales team and customers via emails, BI reporting, Excel, etc.
  • Frequently updating customers on the progress or issues of orders and services
  • Enter customer/project-specific purchase orders and provide updates to Sales and the customer on order status
  • Create pricing quotes for assigned customers based on IT requirements, including new hardware and software product needs, and corresponding services
  • Assist with managing customers’ upcoming renewals with a focus on consolidating and co-terming
  • Be proactive with problem resolution by handling product returns, invoicing questions, and customer concerns
