About The Position

Select Water’s Trucking Supervisor ensures the correct, timely and safe delivery of oilfield fluids, fresh water, salt water products and specialty loads via tractor-trailer/tanker assigned to customer locations. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to Makes recommendations to Operations Manager regarding the work status of employees including, hiring, firing, discipline, promotion, etc. Actively promotes and ensures a safe working environment and adhere to the EHS Management Plan. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and Government regulations pertaining to the worksite. Keeps the Superintendent updated on operations; inspect for hazards, inspect lifesaving and safety equipment.Coordinates safety meetings and pre-job safety meetings. Ensures upkeep of equipment, suggests improvements, and maintains the paperwork. Trains & assesses crew members in accordance with established competency standards and conduct performance management assessments. Provides and implements action plan for identified performance/training gaps. Organizes daily activities of crew and coordinates the staff.Plans various activities such as repairs, daily maintenance of any equipment. Requirements

  • Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with others, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on reports and records.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to use and educate Electronic Logging Device and computer terminal to input required data.
