Operations Team Lead – Central Fill Pharmacy (2nd Shift) Shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm Position Summary McKesson is looking for a motivated Operations Team Lead to support our Central Fill Pharmacy during 2nd shift. This role helps drive workflow efficiency, supports team performance, and ensures high‑quality service for our customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30+ lbs.
- Problem‑solving skills and a positive, team‑oriented mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of McKesson Central Fill processes.
- Experience training or mentoring team members.
- Pharmacy Tech License
Responsibilities
- Lead daily team operations to meet production and mail processing goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer issues and operational updates.
- Assign and organize work to support daily objectives.
- Support general pharmacy operations, including order filling, receiving, put‑away, dispensing, sorting, shipping, returns, and cycle counting.
- Contribute to SOP development and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational guidelines.
- Provide performance observations and assist with new‑hire and peer training.
- Promote McKesson’s I2CARE & ILEAD principles.
