The Regional Lead serves as the primary point of contact for rural health transformation sub-awardees within their assigned region. This role is responsible for oversight, monitoring, performance tracking, and provision of technical assistance to ensure all sub-awardees meet federal and state grant requirements. Each Regional Lead may oversee up to 20 or more sub-awardees, depending on award distribution. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, providing programmatic guidance, monitoring compliance, issuing corrective actions when necessary, and reporting regional progress and outcomes to program leadership. This position is 100% grant-funded under the Rural Health Transformation Program with funding from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Funding is currently approved for five years (2026-2031); continuation of this position is contingent upon renewal or extension of grant funding.
