Optical Manufacturing Technician
About The Position
As an Optical Lab Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, working hands-on in our state-of-the-art lab to craft high-quality eyewear that makes a difference in people’s lives. You’ll be trained across key areas of our optical lab so you can master equipment calibrations, ensure top-notch quality, and keep production running smoothly. This role is located at the SLC Lab (2595 Custer Road SLC, UT 84104) Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 8:00AM to 6:00PM Starting Wage: $18.58/hourly
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
- Experience working in an optical setting
- Intermediate computer skills are needed, including: Windows OS, Excel, Word, and Rx Universe
- Additional specialized skills in Trail Mix, Quoka, and other in-house software may be required in specific customer interface roles
- Hustle and tireless work ethic
- Self-starter, driven, motivated, proactive, and disciplined
- Ability to multitask and prioritize at the same time
- Be innovative, and think on the fly

Responsibilities
- Calibrations and operations of all equipment.
- Effectively identify and address work flow and quality issues.
