Our Healthcare Digital Transformation Solutions (HDTx) team partners with leading healthcare organizations to design innovative digital strategies that solve their most complex technical challenges. As a Solution Consultant, you’ll leverage your expertise in Oracle Health Patient Accounting to support the VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. In this role, you will serve as a solution advisor, providing advanced workflow expertise, configuration guidance, and perform knowledge transfers to national, VISN, and local VA stakeholders. You will function as a subject matter expert in Patient Accounting processes, offering strategic insight, best-practice recommendations, and support to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant revenue operations across the VA enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience are valued
  • Expertise in the Oracle Health Millennium solutions with expertise in Millennium Patient Accounting applications
  • Experience in EHR Implementation including workflow assessments, system design, data collection (DCW), system configuration, testing and validation, third-party platform integration, training material preparation and Go-Live support and post Go-Live optimization
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the Oracle Health solutions to client audiences
  • Willingness to travel onsite with flexibility to work nights and weekends.

  • Candidates must comply with applicable client requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-depth Patient Accounting expertise - including claims, revenue cycle codes, billing rules, insurance plan maintenance - to National and VISN Councils, local workshops, and VA Solution Experts.
  • Lead knowledge-transfer sessions to strengthen VA stakeholder capability
  • Oversee and guide ticket management activities, ensuring proper documentation, prioritization, tracking, and resolution of issues
  • Support design review activities by offering solution insights, advising on configuration decisions, and recommending optimization opportunities for Charge Services workflows and billing operations
  • Work closely with the Office of Functional Champion Testing team to support test preparation, test script execution, validation activities, and resolution of test-related defects
  • Facilitate review of Oracle Health recommended workflows, designs, and configurations, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and industry best practices
