Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Favorable malpractice history
  • Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • DEA license
  • Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers
  • Tact and skill in patient management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to mentor and supervise staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Medicine – Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
  • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
  • Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
  • Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
  • May perform surgery if needed
  • Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s ESG goals
  • Other duties as assigned
