About The Position

The USA 5G Smart Factory is a highly digitized manufacturing site, increasingly dependent on Operational Technology (OT) systems across SMA, FA, Test, Quality Assurance, and Logistics. These systems are critical to safety, product quality, and production continuity, but they are also increasingly exposed to cyber threats. To effectively protect factory operations, the USA 5G Smart Factory is seeking an OT Security Lead to bring IT and OT security together, manage cyber risk, respond to incidents, oversee OT assets and vulnerabilities, ensure business continuity, and meet regulatory and compliance requirements. This role will lead local OT security operations at the USA 5G Smart Factory and coordinate closely with the Global OT Security Domain, Enterprise Security, and Product Security functions.

Requirements

  • Set up and lead the local cross-functional OT Security team for the USA 5G Smart Factory according to Ericsson governance structures.
  • Act as the site representative (ESS) in the Global OT Security Domain, enabling cross-site collaboration and sharing of best practices.
  • Be accountable for implementing and operating OT security processes, systems, and tools supporting manufacturing environments.
  • Manage OT risk assessments and drive corrective actions in collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate planned OT security activities, including awareness training, internal assessments, monitoring, and analysis.
  • Escalate OT security risks and incidents to Local Site Management Board and the Global OT Security Domain as required.
  • Closely collaborate with IT to ensure manufacturing security assurance, including information security.
  • Support Enterprise Security for OT-related issues.
  • Act as the local interface for Product Security (SRM) related to OT controls.

  • New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually.
  • Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date.
  • Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
