SENDER ONE OUTREACH COORDINATOR
About The Position
Sender One Climbing is a premier Southern California climbing destination with six gyms across Los Angeles and Orange County. We exist to help people discover themselves and connect with others through climbing. Our gyms are community spaces built on movement, confidence, and belonging. We’re looking for a self-starter who enjoys being out in the world, building relationships, and representing a brand they genuinely believe in. You will join a mission-driven, community-first brand rooted in movement and belonging, working alongside a collaborative, passionate team that cares deeply about impact. This is a high-visibility role where your work shows up every day in local communities through relationships built, events launched, and people welcomed into climbing. As Sender One continues to grow and open new locations, you’ll grow with us, in a role that blends creativity, movement, and connection. The Outreach Coordinator is part of the Growth Marketing team and focuses on expanding Sender One’s presence in local communities. This is a hands-on, people-facing role for someone who loves building relationships, hosting events, and representing Sender One beyond the gym. The position reports to the Events and Outreach Manager. You will work closely with gym managers, community coordinators, and cross-functional teams to bring Sender One to life beyond our walls, turning community connections into memberships and group experiences.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in outreach, sales, events, or community activation
- Comfortable using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and communication tools
- Full-time availability with regular evening and weekend work to support outreach and events
- Able to travel between Sender One locations and surrounding communities
- This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days per month at a gym location
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations, creating new entry points for people to discover Sender One
- Plan and execute outreach, open houses, and community events—from scheduling and setup through guest experience and follow-up
- Activate corporate memberships, youth programs, CAREs initiatives, and group events, turning community connections into real participation
- Represent Sender One at on-site and off-site events with a welcoming, inclusive presence that reflects our values
- Follow up with outreach leads via phone, text, and email to convert interest into programs, memberships, and bookings
- Track outreach activity and event outcomes, sharing insights to continuously improve how we show up in our communities.
