Electro-Matic is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop and manage a high-potential territory in South Florida. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle—from identifying opportunities to delivering innovative industrial automation solutions that help customers improve performance and productivity. If you enjoy working with engineers, solving technical challenges, and growing a territory, this is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred)
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation or a closely related industry
  • Experience with Siemens products strongly preferred
  • Strong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn and use a CRM application
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory (including occasional overnight travel)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand existing customer relationships within your territory
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Build trusted relationships across engineering, purchasing, quality, and leadership teams
  • Travel throughout the territory to meet with current and prospective customers
  • Present product solutions through demonstrations, samples, and technical discussions
  • Prepare pricing proposals, quotes, and sales agreements
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline activity, and project tracking
  • Partner with Inside Sales and Customer Service to support customer needs
  • Resolve customer issues related to orders, deliveries, or project requirements
  • Represent Electro-Matic at trade shows and industry events
  • Stay current on products, technologies, and industry trends through ongoing training
