Packaging Manager Job Overview: The Royer Packaging Manager is responsible for managing our packaging processes and ensuring that finished products are packaged efficiently and meet all quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging leads and team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure packaging processes adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments (such as production and quality assurance) to ensure the timely completion of packaging tasks.
• Train new packaging employees on equipment usage, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve packaging effi ciency and reduction of errors.
• Assist in overseeing inventory levels and order packaging materials as needed.
• Organize and schedule packaging shifts and monitor employee attendance.
• Resolve packaging issues and communicate any problems or delays to management.
• Verify all labeling and packaging of work orders are correct with customer purchase orders.
• Dispositioning of completed work orders
