About The Position

We are seeking a Paid Media Analyst to join our marketing analytics team in Nashville. This role is responsible for analyzing large volumes of marketing and media performance data to generate insights that improve campaign efficiency and business performance. The Paid Media Analyst will develop reporting and identify trends across media channels, markets, and audiences. The role will focus on uncovering insights such as local market performance trends, lowest cost-per-sale by channel, and opportunities to optimize marketing investments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building analytical frameworks, and translating complex datasets into clear insights that inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling, large dataset management).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and compelling way.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is required.
  • You MUST BE physically located in the United States while performing this job.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Qualtrics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with the paid media landscape (search, social, display, programmatic, etc.).
  • Experience building dashboards or automated reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets from marketing platforms and internal data sources to identify actionable insights.
  • Identify trends in local market performance, cost per sale, and channel efficiency.
  • Develop analysis that helps optimize media investments and improve marketing performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance through data-driven recommendations.
  • Build and maintain recurring performance reports for marketing and leadership teams.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that track key performance indicators such as: Cost per sale Conversion rate Media efficiency by channel Local market performance
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations
  • Work closely with marketing, analytics, and media teams to support campaign analysis.
  • Provide analytical support for media planning, optimization, and budget allocation.
  • Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting sources.
  • Organize and structure data for scalable reporting and analysis.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and analytical methodologies.
