About The Position

LCRA is looking for a motivated individual to join our panel fabrication team!
This position plays an important role in the electric utility industry of
central Texas. As a panel fabricator, you will construct and wire
transmission-related electrical panels, sub panels and cabinets. If you are

Requirements

• Zero or more years of experience in construction, assembly or maintenance of relay and control panels or equipment or relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of electrical circuit theory.
• Skill in use of handheld manual and power tools.
• Basic skill in reading and interpreting diagrams and prints.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring in relay control, substation panels and cabinets according to blueprints.
• Ensure that all components and wiring are built to the exact engineering plans, standards and specifications.
• Inspect and maintain equipment in assigned work area.
• Maintain tools and equipment and a clean work area.
• Support process improvement program and is encouraged to explore efficiency improvements.
• Complete work within budget and deadlines.
