You create clear and logical processes to support your work and that of the organization. Job Summary We're searching for a Paraplanner to join our team. You will be responsible for data gathering and preparation of planning documents required to gain familiarity of clients’ overall financial situation. You will provide technical support to Wealth Advisors for financial planning meetings and keeping plans current. You will report to the Wealth Advisors.

Requirements

  • Interpersonal, listening and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Must be organized, analytical, able to multi-task and proactively research and solve problems.
  • Able to work independently and establish priorities.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, CRM and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of investment tools.
  • Excellent follow-through and communication to team members regarding status of open items.
  • Able to work with the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics.
  • Team player, able to work well with all levels of the practice, and clients.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two or more years of experience in a similar position
  • Series 65 license, other licenses may be required over time
  • Must be willing to increase knowledge of the industry through continuing education
  • You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or have other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, organize and assess client or prospect data including financial statements, tax returns, estate planning documents, insurance policies and other information needed to develop a financial plan. Summarize / communicate information to the Wealth Advisor.
  • Assist Wealth Advisor with preparing client financial plans, financial scenarios and presentations.
  • Attend client meetings. Prepare notes after client meetings and complete assigned tasks, depending on complexity.
  • Assign, monitor and complete tasks in CRM.
  • Assist clients with questions, requests and/or issues related to various financial planning and investment topics.
  • Assist in analysis of clients outside holdings.
  • Gather information, prepare and follow up on updated net worth summaries and other financial information.
  • Request, scan and electronically file client tax returns and update CRM for advisor review.
  • Assist with documenting policies and procedures for the development of financial plans and other related workflows.
  • Compose and prepare correspondence and client documents, including spreadsheets and reports as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients’ professional contacts, i.e. CPAs, attorneys, insurance agents, etc.
  • Assist Wealth Advisor in monitoring clients’ portfolios.

  • Annual base salary range of $65,000-$80,000 based on qualifications and experience, plus discretionary bonus
