About The Position

Looking to break into the bar business? The Barback is the perfect entry-level
opportunity for you to gain experience.

Every Bartender needs a capable assistant to have their back behind the bar.
Here are a few of the tasks you can expect to complete regularly:

Requirements

• high school diploma or equivalent
• knowledge of basic bar operations
• previous experience in a fast=paced environment
• someone capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations
• ability to handle working under pressure while maintaining a pleasant demeanor
• able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
• you’ll be on your feet a lot
• There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more

Nice To Haves

• previous barback or bar experience

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, and supplies
• Making batches for the bar
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area
• Restock ice
• Collect and wash glassware
• Serve easy drinks including beer, soft drinks, and wine
