Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant for Bellevue 1-Year-Old (20 hrs per week) Placement
About The Position
A bit about us: We are a warm, thoughtful family in Bellevue seeking a part-time nanny/family assistant to support our daily routine and care for our active and curious one-year-old. Both parents work (with mom working from home) and value open communication, reliability, and a collaborative approach. This role is a wonderful fit for someone who enjoys a balance of hands-on childcare and light household support. Our family is looking for a long-term fit and hopes to build a consistent, trusting relationship with our nanny. Comfort around dogs is appreciated, as we have a friendly Cavapoo who is typically near mom during the day. A bit about you: You are an experienced, hands-on nanny who truly enjoys caring for young toddlers and keeping up with an active child. You are engaging, talkative, and love helping children reach milestones through play, reading, and meaningful interactions. You are attentive, safety-focused, and comfortable monitoring a busy toddler throughout the day. You are reliable, punctual, communicative, and a self-starter who feels confident working alongside a parent who is home. Ideally, you live relatively close in Bellevue for a short commute and are comfortable with a consistent weekday schedule with some flexibility. Job Duties: This role includes a combination of childcare and light household support, with a predictable daily flow: 3:30–4:00 PM: Light household support (family laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, light vacuuming, keeping eating areas clean) 4:00–5:30 PM: Primary childcare (engaging toddler in age-appropriate play, supervising activities, supporting development) 5:30–7:30 PM: Flexible support depending on the family’s needs (alternating between childcare and household tasks, including dinner support for the child) Additional responsibilities include diaper changes, maintaining a clean and organized play/eating space, and fostering a safe, engaging environment. Requirements
- Multiple years of proven experience caring for ages toddlers +.
- Physically able to lift and keep up with an active child.
- Strong focus on child safety and supervision.
- Reliable transportation to the family’s home.
- Strong communication skills and punctuality.
- Comfortable working in a home with a dog.
- Vaccinations preferred (Flu and Tdap).
- Glowing references from recent nanny positions.
