About The Position

We are seeking a Part-Time RN to join our team in our Mandeville office for the following schedule: Mondays: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Thursdays: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Fridays: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM Occasional Saturdays and holidays. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and families pursuing advanced reproductive services. This role includes general clinical, ART/IVF, and float nursing assignments. The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver care that aligns with FINO's values and mission.

Requirements

  • Active RN licensure in Louisiana.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as scheduled.
  • Competency in managing protocols across multiple physicians with precision.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues, providers, and patients.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems and committed to maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) and/or IVF.
  • Phlebotomy skills.

Responsibilities

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests per established protocols.
  • Conduct screening examinations and assess results, ensuring accurate documentation in the eIVF system.
  • Work with billing agents/FSRs to secure pre-certifications for infertility procedures.
  • Participate in patient assessments (e.g., lab results, ultrasounds, and specific pregnancy needs) and implement appropriate responses.
  • Educate patients on medical and nursing procedures, offering emotional support during treatment.
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, such as inseminations and transvaginal ultrasounds.
  • Provide follow-up care, including lab results, medication guidance, and pregnancy transition support.
  • Triage patient calls, offering solutions and following up as needed.
  • Instruct patients on treatments and medications, coordinate follow-up appointments, and collaborate with other FINO locations as required.
  • Manage and schedule surgical procedures, pre- and post-operative visits, and coordinate with surgical centers.
  • Check and respond to patient messages and complete tasks in eIVF throughout the day.
  • Cover clinical nurse duties during absences and participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace and uphold HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality.
