About The Position

The Impact Partner Specialist works with and directly supports community partners within a geographic region who have a formalized partnership with the ETFB. Reporting to the Impact Partner Manager, the Impact Partner Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the relationships of partner agencies within their service region with the food bank including: agency setup, compliance, and all service aspects of the partnership. Impact Partner Specialist provides support and assists partner agencies with succession planning. The Impact Partner Specialist visits with agencies assigned to them regularly, evaluating opportunities for growth or increased sustainability.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ progressive work experience in non-profit industry or similar industry
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance and acceptable drivers record.
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills, bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
  • Technologically proficient.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
  • Ability to work with attention to detail, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated

Nice To Haves

  • Specific knowledge of client databases & inventory software a plus.
  • Experience working with governmental agencies and other non-profits a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and oversees the day-to-day relations between community partners and agencies and the food bank
  • Screens potential agencies and their personnel for ETFB partnership.
  • Review agency’s mission, oversees completion of all applications and forms, conduct site visits, and develops recommendation for partnership.
  • Assist with Orientation and ongoing training of agencies
  • Update the agency databases (Salesforce and CERES) with current information collected from initial inspections and site visits.
  • Ensure community partners and partner agencies are being monitored routinely for program compliance
  • Receive incoming calls from neighbors in need of food and potential agencies desiring to partner in food relief efforts.
  • Provide assistance and constructive feedback to partners while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Initial setup of agencies and shoppers in CERES (internal database)
  • Maintains timely communication with partners and other ETFB staff members
  • Help organize and plan the Annual Agency Conference.
  • Informs the Impact Partner Manager of issues regarding partner agencies
  • Maintain quality relationship with the Texas Department of Agriculture.
  • Stay up to date to all program changes and requirements.
  • Ensure program compliance with state and federal regulations on an administrative and site level.
  • Identifies opportunities for partner agency education geared toward improving efficiencies at the agency or long-term sustainability.
  • Evaluate ongoing opportunities to react to and close the hunger gap in designated service area.
  • Work collaboratively with Retail Store Program
  • Leverage data tools to inform decision making regards partner growth
  • All other duties as assigned
