Requirements

  • Good knowledge of tools and equipment
  • Mechanical skills
  • Computer skills, Word, Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • High school or trade school diploma
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • May require bending or lifting.
  • Lifting up to 60lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize electronic maintenance system for ordering parts for machinery
  • Maintain accurate part quantities and reorders part supplies.
  • Verify items received against purchase orders. Perform regular cycle count inventory to ensure accurate inventory accounting.
  • Organizes parts in maintenance shop. Updates and maintains accurate bin location by part number to ensure parts organization
  • Remove parts or items no longer used from inventory.
  • Locate buyers for items not needed.
  • Pick and deliver parts at machine shop.
  • Allocate parts with activities in inventory system.
  • Work with Maintenance Supervisor and Manager to create and maintain a consistently accurate and updated mechanical inventory
  • Daily communication with the maintenance group on parts received and/or problems with parts
  • Maintain inventory of plant gases
  • Performs other duties as required
