Parts & Service Team Member (Marine & Powersports)
About The Position
Enjoy working around boats, side-by-sides, ATVs, motorcycles, and powersports equipment? Join River Valley Power & Sport and River Valley Marine as a Parts & Service Team Member and help keep our stores running smoothly. This is a hands-on, day-to-day role focused on ordering, receiving, stocking, and managing parts—plus helping customers with basic parts needs. You’ll also spend time on the phone assisting customers, so a friendly, customer-facing personality is a must. No high-pressure sales required. Why This Role Stands Out • Hourly pay $18–$25 depending on experience • 5-day work week • Full benefits (medical plans starting as low as $50/month) • Work in both marine and powersports departments • Stable, team-focused environment • Opportunity to learn and grow within a top Minnesota dealership What You’ll Do • Receive and unload parts shipments • Stock and organize inventory • Process parts orders and payments • Assist customers in-person and over the phone with parts lookup and basic questions • Keep the parts department clean and organized • Support Saturday coverage (weekday off provided) • Help service team with parts as needed What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in parts, warehouse, or inventory preferred but not required • Comfortable lifting and moving parts and boxes • Good communication and teamwork skills • Friendly, customer-facing personality • Basic computer skills for order processing • Forklift experience a plus • High school diploma or equivalent Schedule • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM • Saturday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (rotating) • Weekday off when working Saturday Compensation • $18–$25/hour depending on experience • Overtime pay when applicable • Stable, predictable income with opportunity to grow Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • HSA options • 401(k) with employer match • Life insurance and short-term disability • PTO and paid holidays • Employee discounts on boats, parts, and accessories • Company-provided apparel About River Valley Companies Family-owned since 1996, River Valley operates full-service marine and powersports dealerships in Rochester, Red Wing, and Lake Minnetonka.
