In Monticello, the Patient Access department encompasses eight unique areas, from the Emergency Department to various Specialty Departments. This role requires independent analysis, judgment, and comprehensive knowledge of facility procedures. Responsibilities entail obtaining and verifying information to establish billable patient accounts. Moreover, you will maintain and enforce patient safety and other safety protocols as necessary. Your responsibilities will include direct patient interaction, registering patients for appointments, scheduling appointments, communicating information to other departments, and confirming insurance details to ensure the accuracy and integrity of processed documents.
