By covering nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions, you will support exceptional patient health outcomes. In this role you will hone your clerical and communication skills, develop age-appropriate nursing care expertise, and collaborate to support patient care and services.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven (7) days of hire)
- Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days of hire
- Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure
- Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible
- MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R
- Current BLS Certification
- Recent bed side care experience in a health care environment
Responsibilities
- You will perform a dynamic range of duties and functions throughout the hospital
- You will assist in basic nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions
- Apply your strong interpersonal skills when providing care for patients across a diverse spectrum of ethnic and social groups
- Collaborate with health care practitioner or registered nurse for comprehensive quality care
